This week, me and my dad will buy a new car as replacement for our Toyota Revo. By the way, our Toyota Revo was already sold for Php 255,000 by a couple living in Marikina City.
My dad’s favorite auto brand is Chevrolet ever since. So we are choosing between Chevrolet Optra or Honda City.
Chevorlet Optra

- 2006 model
- Manual Transmission
- Beige
- Very fresh only 40k mileage
- Leather seat
- All power
- Excellent condition
- Php 320,000 Neg
Honda City

- Model 2004
- Manual Transmission
- Color: Silver
- 32K Mileage
- Casa Maintained
- All Original
- Excellent running condition
- Registered 2009
My dad really wants to go for Optra. That’s fine with me even with the issue of GM announcing bankruptcy in America. I’m not worried about that because GM in Asia is not affected. But I have read bad reviews about the “aftersales” of Chevrolet and that’s what worries me.
Honda City is stunning and I’d really like to drive a car like this one. I’m okay to go for Honda but my dad really loves Chevrolet. Do you have any experience that you can share with regards to Honda City or Optra? I’d really love to hear your thoughts.
