Initial SEO Set Up for Christian Books Bibles (CBB)

Last March 2009, CBB Christian Bookstore or more popularly known as Christian Books Bibles partnered with Micah Abigail Lacsamana (me) for an initial SEO set up for their website, http://www.christianbooksbibles.com. The initial SEO set up includes 20 to 25 hour/week  work for 3 months of 10 to 20 keywords to initially optimize.

I have been working on this project for 2 months already. We’ve seen progress but it’s been showing up slowly. We have experienced some glitches in terms of the landing pages and corresponding keywords. Some of our chosen keywords were already ranking on a different landing page that’s why we aren’t seeing good results on those keywords for our chosen landing pages. (I hope you got what I mean… :) ) I’ve done some research on what might be the problem and I came up with a hypothesis supported by a manual from a big  SEO software company, that one shouldn’t target one keyword on two different landing pages. So I came up with recommendations that I’m sure would help the site in no time. Problems like this can happen in SEO. But I always make sure to identify it and resolve it immediately.

I’m proud that even though we’ve had some slow progress on the other keywords, and that in 2 months time, 7 are already ranking from the 6th to the 2nd page of Google results. (From not being seen at all…)
