Do dreams come out of envy?

When I was still a part of Herbalife, a big international wellness company, I regularly hear successful stories during our Free Weekend seminars. They share their personal stories of how Herbalife (multi-level marketing scheme) has changed their lives.

That was when I realized that my dream was to get rich and buy a house in acropolis and buy a brand new RAV4. (But of course, those were only my materialistic dreams, I still have a lot of deeper aspirations in life)

One of the best ever told experience that really clinged on my mind was the story of Gina. I forgot her last name. Anyway, she’s not more than 25 years old at that time when she shared her story with us. She was an unemployed pharmacist just trying her luck with MLM’s. She found Herbalife and took the risk. To make the long story short, her life was absolutely changed.

From an unemployed woman, she turned into a millionaire in just a couple of years working at home. She bought her own house and a RAV4. I was totally inspired by that story and promised myself that I can also do it.

I did not last the Herbalife job. I know it wasn’t for me. But I told myself that I’ll find a way to achieve what that lady has already achieved.

I don’t know if I should say that dreams start with envy because I envied Gina. From that moment on, I never stopped finding ways on how to earn money. I worked in a call center, worked as a virtual English tutor for a Korean company and now, finally found the way to my dream, oDesk.

I know and believe that after a couple of years more, I will be able to buy my dream car. And for sure, by that time, my blog is still running and you will be able to witness how I achieved one of my precious dreams. :)
