Last Tuesday June 23, 2009, someone from GMA called my house and asked for me but unfortunately, I wasn’t home that time. So my personal assistant gave her my cellphone number. I waited for their call the next day but nobody from GMA has called me. So I just thought that it was some kind of a big joke.
Then, on June 25, 2009, Josh Sales of GMA QTV called me and invited me for a TV interview regarding oDesk. Josh also said that she needs to interview one writer from oDesk and so I recommended my brother in law since we live in the same house, less hassle for GMA crew in terms of transportation.
The goal of the segment is to let their viewers know how oDesk works and how they can earn money from it. Another one is to show their patrons real people with exemplary skills truly earning decent amount of money from online / work from home jobs like oDesk.
I was so amazed and excited at the same time when I heard that news. Just a couple of days ago before they called me, I was thinking and wishing of becoming an SEO Personality here in the Philippines. I’m so glad that the start of that wish came to me that instant. 
We scheduled the interview on June 27, 2009 which is Today! haha… The interview started at 10:30 am with my brother-in-law / writer / team member, Gary Arnesto. He was asked a couple of questions about his personal information and experience in working on oDesk.
After about an hour, they then started interviewing me. We settled for my room as our location since Gary used our sala already. There were lots of questions about oDesk given but I think I have answered them all completely. (Watch the episode for more information!!! to be announced when… )
My room looked really good on cam but it was so hot and steamy during the interview because the electric fans were turned off. 
The camera man said that the noise could be heard on TV.
Anyway, the total TV interview experience was incredibly fun and memorable for me. This event made me feel that I have a long way ahead on my SEO and oDesk career and that I should just continue what I’m doing and be an inspiration to others.
Fact: Yes, there are various ways to earn money online, working in the comfort of your own homes. But it’s not as easy as it sounds or seems. Let us not forget that every career / profession or job requires hard work and determination for us to succeed. May it be a regular day time job or a home based project, you should strive and give your best because the feeling of success acquired by pure hardship and perseverance is very fulfilling and incomparable.
