How to keep Long term Clients on oDesk happy?

It is not very easy to find projects, jobs or clients on oDesk especially if you are a newbie or if you don’t have lots of working experience. Finding a client / employer that would engage in a long term commitment is undoubtedly hard, since buyers in oDesk can end your assignments anytime if they feel you are not fit for their projects anymore.

So, it is imperative that we learn some keys in keeping our clients and making them satisfied about our work.

Points to remember in keeping your Long Term Clients happy:

  • Always submit your daily/weekly/monthly reports on time.
  • Never forget to update your clients on where you guys are in terms of the project status.
  • When talking to a client, show absolute respect and humility.
  • Maintain good working ethics. If you got any problems with the work or your supervisor, it is ideal to write a letter or email and send it to your client, rather than confronting the person.
  • Never promise anything to a client that you CANNOT perform.
  • Work diligently.
  • Provide positive results that your clients want.
  • Respect your client’s time, effort and money.
