My Baby’s new Car! (not actually new… :)

It was our plan to buy a car by December 2009 but there were many things that run in our heads that affects our decision. To make the long story short, Aaron decided that he’s the one who’s going to buy a car by July. His money was just enough to buy a 2nd hand car but with still little savings for him to keep. He really wanted to go for it because he aims to provide something for his family… something that’ll make them happy. :)

We were not after a brand new or even the latest car out there but something that we can just hop in and ride wherever we want to go. It’ll just be some sort of a practice car for both of us as New Drivers.

So, we started surfing the Internet just to get a feel of what he is going to buy. But things came down do fast. We found several interesting and not so bad deals and we called each of the owners to ask for the specs. There was one in particular that caught our attention as it is absolutely cheap but is still in good condition. (exterior)

We thought that this’ll make a good catch so we called the owner and asked for his last price. We went to Duty Free to see the car and Aaron’s dad drove it to test the engine and to see if it is still in good condition. When his dad agreed that the car was great and worth the money, Aaron decided to give the owner earnest money as reservation.

So, it was last June 6, 2009 when my baby bought his new car. (not actually new… :) )
