What is HELLP Syndrome?
HELLP syndrome is a serious complication of Pregnancy Induced Hypertension and Pre-eclampsia that usually occur during the third trimester of pregnancy but could also appear during postpartum.

H - Hemolysis (break down of Reb blood cells)
EL - Elevated Liver enzymes
LP - Low platelets
