Techno-Marine or G-Shock?

At the end part of my last post, I’ve talked about my boyfriend comparing prices of branded watch - G-Shock and TechnoMarine. He wanted to buy the Casio: G-Shock MTG worth a little more than 10,000 pesos but with 20% discount. I liked it as well because of the fact that it is shock-proof and of it’s ergonomic design. Although, I was honestly in favor of purchasing the TechnoMarine Cruise Design for the reason that it’s modern and stylish. The techno marine watch is worth 16,600 (if I remembered it correctly)Both are water-resistant of up to 200 meters. I’ll give you more info about the two.

Stainless steel is known for its hardness and resin for its toughness. Taking advantage of both these characteristics enabled us to realize a design in which two completely different materials intertwine beautifully and unite with one another.

Dial: Black

Strap: Black gel (Transparent strap included)

Fastener: Single Buckle / Stainless steel 316L

Warranty: 2 years

Contrasting material combination design

mtg-gshockThis watch is also made of stainless steel. Forged modeling provides surface structure that makes the most of cutting work and polished finishing to realize a sharp-edged quality look.

Dyeing treatment applied to the hands gives a shark look. Radial concavo-convex shaping of the back surface of the solar dial ads to its expression of profundity.

The buckle features a sharply defined, high-quality brand mark with etching processing applied and a urethane guard added to protect the mark.

Let’s admit that this two amazing watches are of the highest quality and style. But the winner for my boyfriend is…

TechnoMarine Cruise - 3 Hand! We bought his new watch last May 30, 2009 at Robinson’s Place Ermita. We did get 1,000 pesos discount because we paid 4,000 cash in advance. We used Citibank credit card and have the remaining balance to be paid in 12 months. He wanted to pay it in full to avail of the 20% discount but I thought it will be better to pay for it monthly. Anyway, I hope I gave you sufficient information about both brands / designs.
